What is behind Tour 41?
This tour began with number 41, the door of my childhood home. My grandmother, Emilia Teixeira da Matos, once rented this house for "sete contos e quinhentos" — about 37 euros in today’s money.
From that doorway, she walked me to school every morning through the streets of Porto, teaching me the rhythm of the city. Number 41 is more than an address, it is where my story with Porto truly begins, and it’s the spirit I carry into every tour I share with you.
