Terms & Conditions

1. General
These tours are private experiences provided by an independent guide. I am not a travel agency and I do not sell travel packages. My role is to accompany and guide clients during cultural and leisure activities.
2. Bookings and Payments
Clients are responsible for paying directly to third-party providers (restaurants, museums, monuments, transport companies, etc.).
I may suggest options and assist with reservations, but I do not resell or charge for these services.
Payment for my guiding services will be agreed in advance and paid directly to me.
3. What is Included
• Private guiding and cultural explanations during the tour
• Assistance with making reservations in your name
• Walking tours or use of public transportation (tickets at client’s expense)
• Coordination with licensed transfer companies if transportation is required
4. What is Not Included
• Transport in my personal vehicle
• Payments for meals, tickets, hotels or any other third-party services
• Guided visits inside monuments where an official licensed guide is legally required
5. Insurance and Liability
• I hold professional liability insurance that covers my guiding services.
• Clients are responsible for their own health, safety and personal belongings during the tour.
• Participation in the tour is at the client’s own risk.
• I am not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, loss or theft that may occur during the tour, including when using public transport, visiting third-party venues, or participating in activities not directly organized by me.
• Any claims must be directed to the appropriate third-party providers (restaurants, museums, transfer companies, etc.) if the incident occurs under their responsibility.
6. Deposit and Cancellation Policy
• A deposit of 50% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking. By paying the 50% deposit you are agreeing in full to these terms and conditions.
• This deposit is non-refundable, as it covers the preparation of your custom itinerary and guarantees your reservation.
• The remaining 50% must be paid on the day of the tour, at least 12h before the experience begins.
Rescheduling
• If you need to reschedule, your deposit may be applied to a new date if requested at least 7 days before the scheduled tour.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Cancellations and No-shows
• Cancellations at any time will result in the deposit being retained.
• In case of no-show or late arrival that significantly reduces the tour duration, the deposit will be retained and the tour cannot be rescheduled.
Force Majeure
• In the event of exceptional circumstances beyond control (extreme weather, strikes, official closures, etc.), I will make every effort to reschedule the tour. Refunds cannot be guaranteed.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
